The Argentine Paulo Dybala and the Italian club Juventus decided to end their association as of this summer, that is, after the end of the player’s contract with the “Old Lady” team, after they agreed not to renew the contract, while the player preferred to go through a new experience with another club, in the presence of a group of offers.
The Inter Milan team is at the forefront of the teams interested in obtaining the Argentine striker’s signature in a free transfer deal. The Italian newspaper, “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, indicated, Wednesday, May 4, that there are other teams seeking to win the services of Dybala; Like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, the Spanish, and Tottenham and Manchester United, the English, but the player prefers to move to Inter Milan.
The newspaper pointed out that the negotiations between the Argentine player and Inter Milan have become advanced, and the latter is close to ending this deal, despite the competition with many clubs that entered the race to contract with Dybala.
The same sources added that Dybala decided to stay in Italy after seven years with “Bianconeri”, by moving next season to Inter Milan; The arch rival of the “Old Lady”, according to estimates, the Juventus player will receive 6 million euros annually, after signing his joining contract with Inter until 2026, to become one of the most important pillars of the new project of “Nerazzurri”.
Mauricio Arrivabene: Dybala no longer has a place in the Juventus project
And the CEO of Juventus, Mauricio Arrivabene, had previously confirmed about Dybala: “With the deals that took place in January, and especially after the arrival of the Serbian Dusan Vlahovic, Paolo no longer had a place in the project… That is why we preferred not to renew.”
Arrivabene added: “We took the decision to renew last October, but due to financial considerations we declined, and we could not make a low bid for Paolo, because that would be disrespectful to him, so it was better to stop the renewal process.”
It is worth noting that Dybala played in the Italian league (24) matches this season, during which he scored (8) goals and provided (5) assists, in addition to scoring (3) other goals in the Champions League competition.
