Premier League top scorer struggle.. What awaits Salah, Son and Ronaldo before a round

I wrote – Menna Omar:

The struggle for the title of top scorer in the English Premier League for the season (21/22) intensified after Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo recently stormed the list, and Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, has become the top scorer.

The Egyptian captain is the top scorer – so far – with 22 goals, followed by Ronaldo in second place with 17 goals, equal with South Korean Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Egyptian pharaoh participated with Liverpool in 32 matches in the English Premier League this season (scoring 22 goals and making 13 assists), while Ronaldo participated in 28 confrontations (scoring 17 and making 3 assists), while Son Heung-min participated in 30 games (scored 17 goals). He made 7 assists.

Salah’s last goals came against Manchester United during the match that brought them together in the 30th round of the Premier League competitions, and “Mo” scored two goals in the Reds’ 4-0 victory, while Ronaldo’s last goals came against Chelsea in the match that ended in a positive tie with a goal for each.

It was the two matches between Tottenham and Norwich City that brought Ronaldo into the title struggle. The 37-year-old scored only 9 goals before these two matches.

In front of Tottenham in the 29th round, Ronaldo led his team to win 3-2 after scoring a hat-trick. He repeated the same thing against Norwich City in the 33rd round and scored 3 goals that led the team to win 3-2, followed by two consecutive goals against Arsenal and Chelsea – respectively. -.

As for Son, his last goal came against Aston Villa in the 32nd round, when he scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory for Spurs.

4 chances against Salah

The Egyptian pharaoh has 4 games left before the end of the Premier League (21/22) against Tottenham, Aston Villa, Southampton and Wolverhampton.

Less chance for Ronaldo

As for the Portuguese player, he has only 3 matches with his team against Brentford, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

5 attempts by Sun

The South Korean has 5 chances with his team during the English Premier League, as Spurs will meet with Leicester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Burnley and Norwich City before the curtain comes down on the current Premier League season.

The third title?

Salah is on the cusp of achieving the Premier League top scorer for the third time since his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2017.

In his first season in the Reds shirt (17/18), the Egyptian pharaoh succeeded in achieving the top scorer title with 32 goals, two goals ahead of Harry Kane of Tottenham.

In his second season (18/19), he shared the top scorer title with his Senegalese colleague Sadio Mane, in addition to Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal player – at that time -, each of whom scored 22 goals.

In the third season (19/20), he moved away from the competition after finishing fifth with 19 goals, leaving the title to Leicester City’s Jimmy Vardy, who scored 23 goals this season.

Last season (20/21), Salah lost the title by a single goal difference from Harry Kane, the Tottenham player, who won the “scorer” with 23 goals.
