And a report by the Egyptian “Yalla Koura” website revealed on Thursday, April 28, that CAF chose Morocco to host the 2022 African Champions League final for the second year in a row, after it hosted the final meeting last season, which was held between the Egyptian Al-Ahly club and the South African Kaizer Chiefs at Mohammed Stadium. The fifth in Casablanca, where it ended in favor of the Red Genie with a score of 3-0 to crown the Red Devils with the tenth African title.

And a number of press reports recently indicated that Senegal will host the final match of the African Champions League, before the Confederation of African Football (CAF) abandoned this idea of ​​​​the presence of 3 teams from North Africa in the semi-finals.

However, “Yalla Koura” revealed that opinions within the executive office of CAF see the necessity of holding the final in the presence of a large crowd and in a stadium that allows for full capacity, so the members did not welcome the idea of ​​playing in South Africa or Senegal, adding that the executive office of CAF sees the need to agree to hold the final In Morocco, with May 28 set as the date for the match.
