Roma were the first to score, as Italian international Lorenzo Pellegrini gave him the lead in the 15th minute after a pass from Poland’s Nikola Zelevsky, but Leicester managed to return in the confrontation and equalize through Nigerian Ademola Lookman in the 67th minute.
Pellegrini’s goal is his fourth in the competition this season, a personal record for an Italian national team player, never achieved in European club competitions.
The two teams tried to score other goals, but the defense had the final say, and the confrontation ended in a positive tie, keeping the qualification paper pending until the decisive date at the “Olympico” stadium.
